9. Why do I have to wait two weeks for the cut I want?
Stockyard has weekly production however have different customer commitments to meet from week to week. All items on the carcass need to be homed and some of these contracts will be confirmed over 6 months in advance. We aim to process customer orders as close to the same production date as possible to ensure the maximum shelf life of product in country. Every effort is done to get product to our customers as soon as possible but to maximise quantities for orders will be required to juggle production from week to week.
The more lead time we can get on orders, the more streamline this process is.
