- The production system is quite a lengthy one taking up to 30 months (2 years and 6 months) from conception to consumption
- Cattle are fed a high energy ration specially formulated by a Japanese nutritionist (includes steam flaked wheat, barley and sorghum)
- No growth promotants, no antibiotics, no animal by-products or genetically modified feedstuffs are used or fed to Stockyard Wagyu

Stockyard offer four grades of Wagyu product to satisfy your requirements:
- kiwami - The pinnacle of Wagyu. "Outstanding excellence". This product is minimum AUSmeat marble score 9 and hand selected by our graders to ensure the highest quality available.
- Stockyard Black Label - Marble score 8 to 9
- Stockyard Silver Label - Marble score 6 to 7
- Stockyard Red Label - Marble score 4 to 5
