Traditional Japanese cooking method. Shabu-shabu is a Japanese dish featuring thinly sliced beef boiled in water. It consists of thinly sliced meat and vegetables and served with dipping sauces.

Step 1. Thin slice across grain of meat with slicer machine or very sharp knife to 1mm - 1.5mm.
Step 2. Best to eat immediately after slicing by dipping the beef in boiling water with accompanying sides.
Step 3. If hand slicing freezing the meat prior to slicing may assist to get equal thickness.
